In Australia, building codes specify the acceptable minimum threshold for construction. But for residential timberwork exposed to the sub-tropical humidity, storm rain, and salt air of Queensland, the minimum is seldom sufficient.
Operated by Yushin Kim, Carpenter with Passion was founded upon a clear principle: structural redundancy and aesthetic precision. Tightening joist centres, sealing end-grain prior to installation, using marine-grade 316 stainless fixings, and ensuring absolute cleanliness on site.
